A diet rich in fish can help prevent eye disease later in life

A recent study which appeared in the journal Opthalmology has found that those who have a diet which includes fatty fish consumption at least once a week are less likely to develop age-related macular degeneration (AMD), an eye disease usually occurring in senior adults, gradually resulting in impaired vision. According to a recent US study, having a good network of friends and neighbours boosts survival chances by around 50%.
